An Encyclopedia Explanation of the Universe and Our Place in It
Susan Haradon, Ph.D.
Returning to her roots, Dr. Haradon expands upon the developmental frameworks she taught in her courses at UCSD. She adapts core psychological constructs into a matrix encompassing her other passions, such as physics and spirituality. Dr. Haradon believes we need an ongoing, inner Renaissance if we hope to spark on in the wider world.
My Mommy Has Cancer
Jennifer Haradon Dichter and Susan Haradon, Ph.D.
In 2003, the author's mother was told she had breast cancer. Then a junior at the University of Arizona, with a major in Fine Arts/Education, Ms. Dichter had a final project for her class in Children's Literature that semester--write and illustrate a children's book of her own. This book, and its declaration of love, is the final outcome of that project. After several years of her mother's treatment and improvement in health, as well as Ms. Dichter's own graduation from the University of Arizona and her first teaching positions, mother and daughter decided to make this delightful and useful account of her experience available to others, be they cancer patients, children and family members of cancer patients, long term survivors who wish to remember their struggle with joy and pride, or the general public who will understand and be pleased by the meaningfulness of acceptance and hope presented by this story.
